Solitude is not synonymous with
loneliness.
I am not lost at sea but taking
my time.
Why is a time-out a punishment
and not a haven?
Block out the falderal,
chatter, prattle, carbon dioxide for a moment’s breath
And think of nothing.
Answer to no one.
Forget you are someone.
Unchain from the tick-tock.
Until you are content.
